Pippa toy boys

Philippa Middleton aka Pippa is definitely the hottest trend setter of summer 2011.
After the unforgettable performance on Will&Kate royal wedding, the spotlight has turned an increasingly intense and global light on the pilates-shaped Pippa.
Left the historic boyfriend, the banker Alex Ludon, supposed a flirtation with minor Prince Harris, paparazzi shooting her in company of the noble dolphin George Percy, Duke of Northumpton and one of the richest man in the kingdom, Pippa seems to have deeply learnt lessons of mother Carole .

Legend has it that the rampant character of the Middleton sisters, Kate and Philippa, is both due in large part to education imparted by theirs mother, mom to which a major University has to grant a degree in Marketing honoris causa.

The fact remains that the young Pippa, with that impish smile and cute look, the nice girl next door with a stunning b-side, strong of the incredible share of popularity, is very well playing some of the most beautiful pieces of Anglo-Saxon nobility, both for part of blood or portfolios.
To say that the lovely Philippa knows very well manage her toy boys.
Although rumors indicate that the other half of the perfect Middleton's apple jealously guard her true love, met in regular trips to Paris and met at a prestigious luxury house.
No coincidence that Pippa would shortly agree to work in France.
To be continued...

Emma Watson. isn't she lovely?

We all know how is she skilled on formulas. And we love her even more when "nature".
She took a break from shooting The Perks of Being a Wallflower yesterday to go for a walk in Pittsburgh with her costar Johnny Simmons. The actress is getting to know her temporary city, since arriving there last week, with trips to the local mall, where she was photographed by fans while shopping at Barnes & Noble, and scenic afternoons outdoors. She's in Pennsylvania following a recent stint in France to debut the ad for Lancôme's Midnight Rose fragrance that she shot in March with Mario Testino. Emma Watson spoke about working with Lancôme while abroad, revealing that she helped pick the scent's name and cast the leading man in the film portion of the campaign, as well as volunteered her own vintage hat for the images. Emma also spoke about her own fashion and makeup preferences. She told WWD, "I think less is more — less makeup, less accessories is better. I try to dress age appropriately, which isn’t actually that easy when obviously high-end clothing is designed for women who are older than I am. It’s a fine line to tread between looking smart and looking ready to go on a red carpet but also looking like I’m 21. It’s quite difficult. . . . Casually I love to wear Isabel Marant, A.A.M., Chloé and Agnès B. In American brands, I love Vena Cava. I think Stella McCartney is great, and British brands — obviously, I love Burberry."

Giorgio Armani to Hooks over

Is giorgio Armani for sale?
Like a sparkle in the quiet blue horizont, the news comes in the hands of Giorgio the King Armani.
John Hooks the brain master, deus ex machina for Armani expansion, looks ready to leave the fashion group after a liaison held up for over 11 Years.
Sudden change of leadership in the Armani Group. According to rumors, in fact, after 11 years was preparing to leave the company vice president John Hooks, the right arm of Giorgio Armani. Having long been responsible for expanding sales of the group, which is present all over the world, eighteen months ago Hooks became vice president with oversight on the area of trade.
Is this going to change the perspective for one of the most celebrated fashion groups?
Our concern is aimed primarily on the stylistic aspects of the brand.
Mr.
Armani still has the spirit of a boy, but the body keeps the time and we already can not tell which hand will lead the brand as styling director for the day to come.
If you think that one of the advocates of commercial success goes, other clouds are gathering on the horizon of the eagle's brand.
Giorgio Armani is preparing for the IPO or the sale?

Burning Swimsuit Goddess

The latest goddess-inspired collection from a whale-loving Byron Bay swimsuit designer has sparked outrage in India.

Demonstrators in Amritsar burned the Australian flag and waved placards on Sunday in protest at a skimpy swimsuit print depicting the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, which was shown at Australian Fashion Week.

The swimsuit, from Byron Bay label Lisa Blue, shows Lakshmi - the goddess of wealth and beauty - on the front and back of the cutaway design.

Media in India expressed their dismay at the depiction, prompting the label's creator, Lisa Burke, to issue an apology on Facebook and Twitter.

"This range will never be available for sale in any stockists or retail outlets anywhere in the world," Ms Burke posted on the label's Facebook page on Saturday.

"We apologise to the Hindu community and take this matter very seriously."

But the statement was not enough.

Protesters who took to the street in the north west Indian city of Amritsar, waving photos of the swimsuit and burning the Australian flag, continued demonstrations over the weekend.

The Bharatiya Janata Partya party called for an apology from the Australian government, according to London's Telegraph.

And the president of the Universal Society of Hinduism was quoted in the North India Times saying the religion's deities deserved respect.

"Lakshmi was meant to be worshipped in temples or home shrines and not for pushing swimwear in fashion shows for mercantile greed of an apparel company," president Rajan Zed said.

Ms Burke issued a second apology on Saturday afternoon, saying: "We would like to offer an apology to anyone we may have offended and advise that the image of Goddess Lakshmi will not appear on any piece of Lisa Blue swimwear for the new season, with a halt put on all production of the new range and pieces shown on the runway from last week removed".

She also posted this statement: "Lisa Blue has been born out of a love of conservation, spirituality and a respect for all people. At no time would we ever have intended that the brand would cause offence. The use of images of Goddess Lakshmi was not in any way a measure of calculated risk taking, simply it was a desire to celebrate different cultures and share that through our brand".

And a statement addressing the issue was posted on the label's website yesterday.

The label's Facebook page has become a site for vigorous debate over reactions to the print, which was shown as part of a divinity-inspired collection in Sydney on Thursday.

Ms Burke says she created the label Lisa Blue after having a life-changing moment in the presence of a Humpback whale and its baby in Tonga.

"'Lisa Blue' represents the girl of the future who can be sexy, beautiful, powerful and environmentally aware at the same time," she says on the label's website.

"She is not afraid to share her beauty with the world and so shows other girls that they too can shine."

The label says it donates 25 per cent of net profits towards protecting the whales and dolphins.
